Mulder and Scully are back.
As many already know X-Files 2 has been filming undercover up here in Vancouver for the past two months. Fox is trying its best to keep everything under wraps as the film supposedly has a big secret that, if given away, will ruin the movie. Nobody has any idea what the premise of the sequel will be as absolutely nothing has been revealed. To think this film comes out only one week after The Dark Knight is absurd considering how little is known about the movie.
Yesterday Fox, along with director Chris Carter and actors David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson, showcased a trailer for the sequel at WonderCon in San Francisco. A few hours ago a bootleg of the trailer made it's way online. YouTube has pulled the video but it's still viewable online via Flash Player. Check it out below.
Not much is given away but this film looks like a lot of fun. In fact, just seeing Mulder and Scully again are enough to get me excited for this flick. By the way, that's Billy Connolly at the beginning of the trailer if you couldn't tell due to the picture quality. I'm a big fan of his and he should be great in X-Files 2. Amanda Peet and Xzibit are other notables from the film's cast.
An official title for the X-Files sequel hasn't yet been announced. According to the trailer the film will hit theatres on July 25th. Check back to MediaZEALOT as we'll be keeping tabs on the movie leading up until its release.

it's the same footage, but I don't think he's using youtube.
